Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please review our policy regarding service cancellations, refunds, project payments and related requests.

Last Updated: September 2026

Please review the applicable proposal, quotation, invoice, statement of work or service agreement before making a payment. Project-specific commercial terms may take precedence where expressly agreed in writing.

1. Introduction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the general terms applicable to cancellations and refund requests relating to services provided by EDIGICOMFY ("we", "us", "our" or "EDIGICOMFY").

This policy applies to enquiries, consultations, digital marketing services, SEO services, performance marketing, social media marketing, website development, software development, domain-related services and other services offered by EDIGICOMFY, subject to any project-specific written agreement.

2. Enquiry Does Not Require Payment

Submitting an enquiry or consultation request through our website does not itself create a payment obligation or service contract.

Services and applicable charges will be discussed and agreed separately before a paid engagement begins.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If a customer wishes to cancel a service before work has started, the customer should contact EDIGICOMFY as soon as possible.

Where no work has commenced and no non-refundable third-party expense has been incurred, a refund may be considered subject to the applicable quotation, invoice or service agreement.

Any applicable payment gateway, transaction, registration or third-party charges may be deducted where such charges cannot reasonably be recovered.

4. Cancellation After Work Has Started

Once work has commenced, payments may become non-refundable to the extent that services have already been performed, resources have been allocated, deliverables have been created, or third-party costs have been incurred.

If a customer requests cancellation after commencement, EDIGICOMFY may assess the completed work, outstanding commitments and costs incurred before determining whether any amount is refundable.

5. Digital Marketing & SEO Services

Digital marketing, SEO, advertising management and social media services involve ongoing work, planning, campaign management, optimization, content or strategy development and allocation of resources.

Once the agreed service period or campaign work has commenced, fees relating to work already performed are generally non-refundable, except where otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law.

Cancellation of an ongoing service should be communicated before the next billing or service period wherever possible.

6. Advertising & Third-Party Platform Charges

Advertising budgets, platform charges and other amounts paid directly to third-party platforms are separate from EDIGICOMFY's service fees where applicable.

Amounts already charged or spent by advertising platforms, payment processors, domain registrars, hosting providers or other third parties may not be refundable by EDIGICOMFY.

Any refund from a third-party provider will be subject to that provider's own terms and policies.

7. Website & Software Development

Website and software development projects may involve planning, design, development, programming, testing, infrastructure configuration and other work performed specifically for the customer.

Payments associated with completed milestones, completed work or resources already committed may be non-refundable.

If a project is cancelled after development has started, the customer may be responsible for payment for work completed up to the cancellation date, together with applicable third-party or committed costs.

8. Domain Registration & Related Services

Domain registration, renewal, transfer and related services may involve third-party registrars or domain registries.

Once a domain has been successfully registered or a third-party domain service has been processed, the associated amount may be non-refundable depending on the applicable registrar or registry rules.

Domain availability, registration eligibility, renewal requirements and pricing may be controlled by third-party providers.

9. Refund Eligibility

A refund request does not automatically guarantee a refund. Each request may be reviewed based on:

  • The nature of the service purchased.
  • Whether work has already commenced.
  • The amount of work already completed.
  • Third-party costs already incurred.
  • The terms stated in the applicable quotation, invoice or agreement.
  • Applicable laws and regulations.

10. Non-Refundable Amounts

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, amounts may be non-refundable where they relate to work already completed, services already delivered, third-party charges, domain registrations, advertising expenditure, customized development work or other costs that have already been incurred.

Important

A refund cannot generally be claimed solely because expected marketing results, search rankings, leads, conversions, traffic or revenue were not achieved. Digital performance depends on multiple factors, including market conditions and third-party platforms, unless a specific written agreement states otherwise.

11. Customer-Initiated Cancellation

Cancellation requests should be submitted through a written communication such as email or another communication channel approved by EDIGICOMFY.

The effective cancellation date may be determined based on the date the cancellation request is received and the applicable billing or project terms.

12. Cancellation Due to Customer Delay

Projects may be affected if required content, credentials, approvals, access, materials or other information are not provided by the customer within the agreed timeframe.

Such delays may affect project timelines and do not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.

13. Cancellation by EDIGICOMFY

EDIGICOMFY may suspend or terminate a service where reasonably necessary due to non-payment, misuse of services, violation of applicable terms, unlawful activity, abusive conduct or other circumstances that materially affect the service relationship.

Any financial adjustment following such cancellation will be determined according to the applicable agreement, outstanding work, costs incurred and applicable law.

14. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed through the original payment method where reasonably possible.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution.

15. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To request a cancellation or refund review, please contact us with:

  • Customer name
  • Registered email address or phone number
  • Service or project name
  • Invoice or transaction details, where available
  • Reason for the cancellation or refund request

16. Policy Changes

EDIGICOMFY may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices or applicable legal requirements.

The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.

17. Applicable Law

This policy shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable laws of India.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
